Communication

Communication Policy

  • You can reach your child’s teacher by sending a message through the myStudent Parent Portal, leaving a message with the front office, or by email (all email addresses are listed on our school website).
  • Your administrative team is happy to connect with you. Please schedule an appointment in advance with Mrs. Altman (Principal) or Mrs. Wardell (Assistant Principal). This ensures we can give you our full attention and provide the best support possible, as our schedules during the school day consist of classroom visits, meetings with teachers and staff, curriculum planning, and other responsibilities relating to students’ needs.

Respect & Civility

  • The School Board has a respect and civility policy in place when interacting with school staff. The following points are excerpts from the policy.
  • “The education of a child happens only through a partnership between the student, School and District personnel, parent(s) or guardian(s), and the community.”
  • “Partnership is an active state that includes sharing responsibilities, having meaningful communication, and welcoming participation.”
  • The entirety of the policy can be found on the district website.
