Arrival & Dismissal Procedures for Parent Drop-off and Pick-up
Arrival
- Students will arrive promptly at 9:30 a.m.
- Parents/guardians dropping students off who are served in Access or PK will park and walk to the black gate at the front of the school for drop off. (Please do not wait in the car line for safety and supervision reasons.)
- Staff from the Access/Pre-K pods will be at the front black gate to receive your child promptly at 9:30 a.m.
- Staff will walk students to their classrooms, so they are supervised and supported at all times.
- Parents will not be permitted past the black entrance gate in the morning.
Dismissal
- Students will be dismissed at the black gates in the bus loop at 3:30 p.m.
- Parents will walk to the black entrance gate in the bus loop and inform the staff member monitoring the gate of their child’s name.
- The staff member monitoring the gate will radio the staff members in the classrooms/pod, and the student will be escorted by an adult to the dismissal release point.
- A car tag will be required to release your child to you. Please make sure to bring it with you each day.
- Bus riders will arrive and dismiss according to school bus rider procedures.
If your child has any special circumstances that may affect their arrival or dismissal—such as medical needs, mobility challenges, or behavioral considerations—please inform your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
