

Principal
Mrs. Davis was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Michigan. She also earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from USF. She moved to Florida in 2005 to begin her teaching career at Chester Taylor Elementary School. Mrs. Davis then moved to Centennial Elementary School where she taught grades 2, 3, and 4 over the course of 7 years, before making a change to Watergrass Elementary where she taught 5th grade for a brief period before becoming an assistant principal intern at Raymond B. Stewart Middle School. She then returned to Watergrass Elementary as the Assistant Principal in 2015. From 2016 to 2021, she was the Assistant Principal at West Zephyrhills Elementary, and then Principal of Pasco Middle School before coming home to Watergrass Elementary as Principal. Mrs. Davis is a proud bonus-mom to 3 children, and she and her husband both proudly serve Pasco County Schools. She enjoys crafting, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Davis is proud to live and work in the Watergrass community, and looks forward to growing learners here for many years to come!
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Wardell is a proud lifelong resident of Pasco County. She attended Chester Taylor Elementary, Stewart Middle School, and graduated from Zephyrhills High School. Her journey in education began early, serving as a Business Cooperative Education (BCE) student with Pasco County Schools during her senior year of high school. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Saint Leo University and has taught First Grade, Kindergarten, and Third Grade at Woodland Elementary School. Mrs. Wardell later returned to Saint Leo University to complete her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, furthering her commitment to academic excellence and student success. Mrs. Wardell and her husband are the proud parents of a little boy named Anderson. Mrs. Wardell is dedicated to creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all students. She is excited to continue serving the Pasco County community she has always called home.
